Originally a sister project of Hollaback London, now with its own funding, Good Night Out is an independent global campaign that works with clubs, bars, festivals, pubs and venues to deal with, tackle and prevent harassment in their spaces.
In developing the brand, my rationale was giving patrons a “voice,” encouraging them not to internalise public harassment and to seek support from the GNO-trained members of staff. The logo was created and approved in a single round and was the only route put forward.
It has been incredible watching other designers create their own take on the logo, from changing out the gradient background as the campaign’s credo moves across the globe.
